Two Weeks Notice.

The date is set… We’re heading overseas.

Bavaria.

We’ve known for a while we were heading over, but the removals date is officially complete! Now to pack, not just myself and hubster… but our two and a half year old and two cats! We definitely don’t do things by halves.

We are currently in a very spacious 3 bedroom house with garage and large garden, and frankly the house that we’re moving to… well, for starters it’s a top floor apartment and we have zero idea on if we get any garden in it! Thankfully there is only two floors, not a million like London.

We’ve been clearing out and selling as much as we could, including boxing up the items that aren’t….. everyday items(?). For example, books and DVDs flower pots, you get the idea. The removals men are paid to pack our house for us, and we made the mistake last time of not accepting this part of the service. We’re definitely making use of it this time round!

The family (including cats) are heading over in our car, it’ll be an 18 hour drive from door to door. With 2 overnight stops. Hubby and I have packed a suitcase and got the car almost ready to go! Just some final preps, and packing of the child and cats to do! Child’s suitcase will be happening on Friday, whilst he’s at nursery and I’ve managed to catch up on all the laundry that has accumulated in the growth spurt changeover. The cats will be done the day we leave.

Over the next coming days, I will introduce us, the family. Simply so as you understand who we are if you’re directed here by our friends or family members.
